Computational Perception Laboratory was established (in 1996) to explore and develop the next generation of intelligent machines, interfaces, and environments for modeling, perceiving, recognizing, and interacting with humans.
CPL is affiliated with the two interdisciplinary research centers at Georgia Tech: The Robotics and Intelligence Machines (RIM@GT) and the Graphics, Visualization, and Usability (GVU) Center. Members of CPL include faculty as well as graduate and undergraduate students from the College of Computing, the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, and various other units from Georgia Tech.
